Curiously Styled Single Seat Zero Emission Car

Let’s be frank here, this Electric One Person Car – known as the Electric One Person Car (top marks for creative naming) – is hardly going to win any awards for killer styling. In fact, the more I look at it, the more indecisive I become as to whether this looks like a motorized clog or some sort of cartoon giraffe head on wheels.

And if you think I’m being a little harsh, let me ask you, can you imagine yourself pulling up for a hot date in this? No, I thought not. In fact, about the only way this is going to help your ‘street cred’ is if everyone else are driving these (incidentally, another Hammacher Schlemmer device).

Powered by a 156 volt DC motor generating a bone crushing 33 horsepower, the car can accelerate to 30mph in 3 ½ seconds and will propel you to 60mph in 12 ½ seconds and will run for 30 miles on a single six hour charge.

Accessories include an AM/FM radio CD player, a three point safety belt, electric windows, an air vent, a windscreen wiper, a single headlight and 6’ cu of storage space behind the driver’s seat.

The Electric One Person Car is available in a host of fetching colours (Red, Teal, Orange, Blue, Yellow, Purple, Magenta, White, Coral, Dark Aqua, Green, Lime Green, Lilac and Aqua) and retails at $24,899.95.
