See the Light with the Solar Powered Audio Bible

Solar Powered Audio Bible GadgetFollowing on from the absurd prayer answering Jesus we featured earlier in the week, we couldn’t help but post about this solar powered gadget that reads the New and Old Testaments to you in a real human voice and allows easy navigation between books and chapters with a simple press of a button.

The product site states that the handheld Solar Powered Talking Bible is ‘perfect for the visually impaired, seniors, or anyone on-the-go who wants to hear the word of God.’ The device features a single speaker as well as a headphone plug (with headphones), book-marking functionality and recharges itself from the sun or another comparably bright light source for up to fourteen hours playback.

Personally I’d rather listen to my MP3 collection but if having the word of God available on the fly in a portable device floats your boat then you’ll no doubt be interested to know that the Solar Powered Talking Bible retails at $99.98 and can be purchased from this site.
