We would like to apologize to readers for any inconvenience caused as we aesthetically overhaul Thoughts from the Sidelines. We are using a ‘test bed’ to conduct the majority of the testing and recoding required, however, on occasions we will need to run a test via this main site.
Once the main development is complete TFTS will assume this new aesthetic and I am sure that we will then have to tweak things a little whilst live, but this should not overtly interfere with either site access or usability (you know how it is, you plan ahead, take all steps to ensure a fluid transition only to find that something causes issues that were never evident on the test site).
Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to overing a revamped TFTS very soon.
Update: The main transition has now occurred without any major issues occurring (I’m going to wish I han’t said that, aren’t i?). Just a number of codes to pop across and reconfigure to fit with the new look which, incidentally, I would readily welcome feedback on. Do you like it, is there anything missing that you liked on the previous site theme and you miss not having here?
Known Issues: With spme posts the text may appear with a a single word or two wrapping under the post’s header image. This is unfortunate but without either drastically reducing or enlarging the test this cannot be resolved on any historical post without resizing the central column. All new posts will be worked to fit the new sizing, however.

Looking good so far. I love the huge RSS feed icon. You definitely won’t miss that!
Thanks for the feedback, glad you like it. Yes, as you rightly observed, I appear to have a bit of an RSS thing going on at the moment. I strongly suspect its hormonal.
