The Optical Finger MouseWhenever we see a new controller device for computers we try to ensure that we post about it on TFTS and now we can add this Optical Finger Mouse to the list that includes such oddities as the previously featured Combi-mouse and the distinctly ugly Safetype.

The Optical Finger Mouse, developed by Logisys, straps on your index finger and can be used in conjunction with virtually any surface apart from highly reflective surfaces such as glass.

In use, you simply point for finger to move the cursor whilst your thumb controls the left button, the right button and the scroll wheel/dial. Unfortunately, at the time of writing, the device is wired so you will still have a cable to contend with, though a wireless (Bluetooth?) version is no doubt already in development.

The devise costs around $20 and further information can be obtained from the Logisys site linked here.
