The Humane Verbarius Time Writing ClockWe’ve featured all manner of time machines here on TFTS but it’s been a while since we’ve posted about one, so let’s resolve that straight away with this multilingual Verbarius Electronic Clock that displays the time with words.

Detailed as being the first clock to tell the time in a humane way (and in comparison with the Sonic Bomb Alarm Clock could, who could argue) the Verbarius Electronic Clock can show the time in five pre-installed languages – English, German, Spanish, French and Russian – with further additional languages being available – from Latin to Gaelic – via an update from your PC.

Not only does the Verbarius write the time, however, it will also write the time in a manner of ways with 04:45, for example, being shown as either forty-five minutes past four, fifteen minutes to five, four forty-five or quarter to five. Very clever.
