Occasionally a designer will come up with a concept that sets the design world alight and, in respect of this tripod burner concept from designer Yu-ri Lee, this could quite literally prove to be the case (thankfully, as it gives me the opportunity to lever in a cheap not especially meaningful pun such as that written above in a thinly veiled bid to appear witty).
Resembling logs arranged for a campfire, the device offers an instant, smokeless and fully adjustable fire courtesy of three burners – one housed at the end of each of its legs – which provides a stable platform for cooking regardless of where you may be without the need to locate suitably dry, combustible materials and then fiddle around with a lighter just as the wind picks up.
A truly magnificent concept and a masterstroke of design.
