Video – Nokia’s Vision of the Future
It’s always interesting to see how a technology company like Nokia envisage the future and this brief video presentation from the aforementioned company gives at least a little insight as to where they think we’re headed.
From bracelets that interact with your cell phone to digital photos offering interactive imagery on your fridge door the world of the future certainly looks rosy as far as Nokia is concerned – though I suspect this video was made prior to the unveiling of Apple’s iPhone. It’s also reassuring to know that the world of the future still has birds and that people will still own houses that don’t even have doorbells thus forcing dinner guests to knock at the door. How very….quaint.
The only thing that does concern me is how brief the video actually is. Moreover, in comparison with companies like Phillips, who really appear to have their finger’s on the pulse, this really is not especially impressive.
