Video – The 420 BHP Audi R8 Supercar

Like many, we’ve always had a particular soft spot for anything Audi here at TFTS Towers so we have been following the media frenzy concerning Audi’s R8 with some interest whilst slicking our tongues out of the side of our mouths and drooling incessantly.

With a top speed of 301 km/h courtesy of its 420 bhp V8 mid mounted engine and looks that are guaranteed to draw attention to the same extent that Britney Spears wearing no knickers isn’t, this is not only an astonishingly beautiful piece of craftsmanship but its also positively brimming with cutting edge technology – such as its magnetorheological fluid based shock absorbers whose damping characteristics are adapted electronically and dynamically by sensors regulating the supplied voltage to electromagnets.

I am by no means an authority on such matters, but I know something truly special when I see it and when I see a car that makes my heart want to wrestle itself free from my ribcage in a futile bid to make sweet love to the imagery set before me then, well, it’s kind of hard not to know that this car is certainly pressing all the right buttons.
