The DVD Virtual Fireplace

There’s nothing quite like sitting in front of a warm fire, watching the flames dance before you and feeling the warmth against your skin as the light plays with the ambience of the room but, for many of us, a real fireplace is out of the question or, if we were honest, we just can’t be bothered to get round to sorting one out.

Help is at hand, however, as, thanks to this DVD all you need is to insert the disc into your player to have flames roaring across your television set and apart from featuring the classic log and coal fires, the DVD in question also contains gas fires and, yes, even an electric fire (for the students, I suspect). So now when it’s minus ten outside you can look forward to getting home and experiencing a traditional fire that provides no heat whatsoever, safe in the knowledge that, whilst you may well be freezing your vitals off, at least there’s little chance of your house burning down.
