Created for Vessel by the Dutch conceptual designer Hella Jongerius, these animal bowls – or, rather, Nymphenburg Sketches to give them their correct and suitably pompous title – feature exquisite animal figurines in the centre that should serve enliven even the most mundane of meals. Though at £699 and above for each item perhaps you’ll want to save them for special occasions.

As well as the featured Hella Bowl with Rabbit – priced at a cool £1295 – you can also purchase a bowl featuring a snail at £699, a bowl with a Hippo at £1225 or even the Hella Bowl with Bird at a mere £699.
