The Compact Media Wrist Watch
If conclusive proof were needed as to the fact that you can own a multimedia wrist watch that won’t wholly redefine your centre of gravity and occasion an unfortunate limp for the rest of your natural life, here it is.
This incredibly compact yet versatile media watch, developed by the Japanese company Thanko, is not only capable of playing MP4 files in AVI, MPEG and WMV formats courtesy of its 128×128 pixel LCD screen, but it can also handle MP3s with up to 7 hours playback on a single charge, take voice memos and display your digital photos. Oh, and coincidentally, it also tells the time.
Available in 1GB and 2GB flavours, costing $125 and $160 respectively, the watch is fully plug-and-play via USB to allow for easy connectivity though at present it is only cited to work with Windows operating platforms.
