The MPIO FL500 MP3 PlayerA number of MP3 players have caught our finely honed geek eyes of late and, although by no means as retro in appearance as the wonderful Signeo SN-A800 featured previously here on TFTS, there can be no doubt that this distinctively styled MP3 player from MPIO is a rather tasty piece of gadgetry that is bound to cause ripples of admiration wherever it’s seen.

With its startlingly beautiful hybrid retro styling, the FL500 certainly looks the business with its large analogue dials, including is over sized jog shuffle, and its triangular form – apparently inspired by shape of an electric guitar.

Available in 512MB, 1GB and 2BG flavours and in three not especially varied colour schemes – namely standard black, totally black and entirely black – the FL500 also features an inbuilt FM radio receiver, a handy voice memo facility, and naturally can also be utilised as a mass storage device for your documents, pictures and those altogether suspect video clips.

You can view a complete list of the FL500’s specifications and see further imagery of this device via the official site linked here.
