Created by CuteCircuit, a company specialising in smart textiles and wearable telecommunication interfaces, the innovative Hug Shirt allows the wearer to send and receive virtual hugs via their Java enabled mobile devices using Bluetooth connectivity and a series of plug and play hug pads that can easily be removed to allow the shirt to be washed just like any ordinary item of clothing.
