The Homemade Roller Coaster

Roller CoasterThe majority of us have perhaps erected a Swingball or inflated a paddling pool in our gardens to give the kids something to do outdoors having prized them away from their Xbox or Playstation.

I very much doubt, however, than many of us have even considered building our own roller coaster in the back garden, complete with a full loop, and yet this is exactly what American John Ivers has done – and, forget the children, it appears that he’s built this entirely for himself (though he’s gracious enough to allow anyone weighing in at under the 200lb limit to take a ride).

You can see John talking a spin on his 180 foot long “Blue Flash” homemade roller coaster in the video featured below – and it certainly looks like fun.
