With road networks becoming evermore congested it makes more sense than ever to travel light and, with the Scoot, you not only get a beautifully and distinctly retro styled device that will enable you to thread through the gridlocked traffic and park up quite literally anywhere with ease, you also get a device that allows you to do so in the knowledge that you can doing your bit for the environment.
The result of a collaboration between GRO Design, Tim Modelmakers and Korff & Van Mierlo, the Scoot is powered by a lightweight lithium ion battery requiring only six hours for a full charge that will see you good for a range of between 40 – 50 km. The Scoot can also travel at up to 30 km/h and, as it’s categorised as a motorised bike, it doesn’t require a number plate as is exempt from road taxes.

Not only is the Scoot eco-friendly, but being powered silently by electricity it works out as being incredibly economical to run (50 cents for 50km).
The Scoot’s price is envisaged at being around the €1500 mark and further details concerning this intriguing and undeniably modern take on the motorised scooter can be gained from the impressive official website via this link.
