Coming from a house where the washing machine seems to be perpetually on (and, yes, regular readers can be assured that our washing machine does have blue lights and a large screen) I read about this product with great interest.

Designed to remove up to a stated 75% of surface water from your body subsequent to having either a bath or a shower, this “squeegee” will cut down on the amount of water absorbed by towels which, in turn, is supposed to reduce the number of times towels have to be washed. Moreover, if you are traveling this could help to significantly reduce the number of towels you pack.

The product comes in both standard and sports variants and, whether you believe the hype or not, as mere objects alone they admittedly look rather cool.

The Bodyflik can also be used by swimmers to enable them to get drier quicker as well as those in saunas to remove sweat. Not only that, as the product’s website rightly points out, what with hotels becoming evermore restrictive with respect to the amount of towels they supply the Blodyflik could prove invaluable for those on holidays or for business persons living out of suitcases.
