Rug HeaderWell, there are many things that I’ve posted on Thoughts from the Sidelines that I would never in my wildest dreams have ever envisaged posting and this post is set to maintain this tradition as it is a post about, well, a rug. Needless to say, in order to make it onto this site you’ll (of course) naturally assume that this isn’t your standard type of rug – and your assumption would be perfectly correct.

In fact, if your tastes are anything like mine, you’ll be positively dying to get your hands on it.

Created by the British designer Alex Carpenter the Drop Dead Rug was exhibited at the London Design Festival and it caused such a stir that Alex is now looking to go into full commercial production of this rather fetching rug.

The Drop Dead Rug

The Drop Dead Rug will be made available in a number of particularly apt poses and prices are envisaged to sit around the £150 mark.

You can visit Alex’s page via this link and, if you are interested in placing an order for a rug that is bound to be a great conversational piece in any sitting room then you can email him via his page for further details.

Fantastic.
