Let’s imagine that you have taken a much deserved weekend break away from your house and, in the rush to get away, you have forgotten to pass a spare set of keys to the kind lady at number 57 who offered to call in to check up on your pet python. Should you cut your break short, or should you opt to callously ignore the fact that your python is presently starving?
Now help is at hand courtosy of the Waleli GSM-Doorbell. With a simple ring of your doorbell you receive a mobile call that connects you to directly the aforementioned kind lady. And, having established that it is her (and not the nasty lady at number 58) during a remote conversation with her you enter a simple code and, as if by magic, your front door opens so that the kind lady in question can be eaten by said python – thus leaving you to enjoy the rest of your break worry free.
A potential crisis has been averted, and it all thanks to the wonders of this clever doorbell that calls you whenever you have a visitor.
Of course, whilst I have undoubtedly proven the merits of the Waleli GSM Doorbell for those of us with pythons (where did that example come from – I must speak to my psychotherapist) this device offers a host of benefits for the standard python-less home owner.

Nice Doorbell - Just not sure about the pink.
For instance, if you have forgotten your house keys a simple sending of a security code from your cell phone will see you off the front door step and into the warmth of your house which, in itself, is a pretty impressive selling point. Of course, it could just be the case that someone comes to your front door whilst you are upstairs and, rather than be bothered to trek all the way downstairs to let them in, you can do so by simply tapping away at your mobile. Moreover, if there are salespeople at the door then you can insult them from a safe distance using your mobile (or does this just appeal to me?).
The Waleli GSM Doorbell is made up of four main parts, an intercom, an electronic locking system, a simcard (for the doorbell) and the doorbell unit itself and it is already on sale in the Netherlands.

That’s an awesome invention. It might come in handy if you don’t want to fumble for your keys also.
Knowing me, I’ll loose the house keys and then think “Well that’s ok, I have my phone” only to realize that my keys are by my phone, in the house.
